The vision for Fausti was conceived in 1997 when Cristina Fausti envisioned an organic, modern winery to complement her family’s Marche vineyard. She partnered with esteemed winemaker Domenico D’Angelo, who shares her reverence for the land and celebrates the principles of biodiversity y in the vineyard. Nestled in Fermo, a region steeped in viticultural history, Fausti’s vineyards are marked by a medieval tower—once owned by the Matteucci counts—symbolizing the area’s rich grape-growing heritage.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Friuli’s Rosazzo subzone, Ronco delle Betulle has been crafting organic wines since its founding in 1967 by Giovanbattista Adami. Now led by Ivana Adami and her son Simone Sechi, the estate spans 12 hectares of terraced vineyards dedicated to native varieties like Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and the rare Pignolo. With a deep respect for tradition and nature, the winery eschews chemicals, opting for sustainable, artisanal methods that honor the land’s rich history, rooted in the ancient Abbey of Rosazzo.
Osvaldo Bisquertt and Soledad Urrutia established their namesake winery in 1978, playing a pivotal role in the development of the Colchagua Valley. In the early 2000s, their son Sebastián took over the reins, upholding the family’s commitment to sustainability, which has been recognized by the Wines of Chile organization. Andrea Gillet, Bisquertt's Head Oenologist, leverages her extensive experience from renowned wineries around the globe to craft terroir-driven wines sourced from heritage varieties, many of which come from century-old head-trained vines.
Founded in 1992, Bosinakis Winery is renowned for its exceptional interpretation of Moschofilero. The next generation, siblings Sotiris and Katerina Bosinakis, took over in 2009, determined to elevate Moschofilero beyond its typical table wine status. Their powerful expressions showcase the grape's potential for aging and complexity. In addition to their celebrated white and rare rosé, they experiment with natural winemaking techniques and collaborate with Chatzakis Winery to blend Assyrtiko with Moschofilero, further expanding the grape’s possibilities.
The Lopez Montero family’s roots in winemaking trace back to 1788, but it was in 2005 that María Victoria Montero and her children embarked on the Verum project, focusing on 80 hectares of exceptional vineyards in Castilla-La Mancha. Guided by winemaker Elías Lopez Montero, Verum emphasizes harmony with nature, reviving traditional varieties while exploring lesser-known grapes like Graciano. As a distinguished family-owned winery in a landscape dominated by bulk producers, Verum reflects the authentic essence of their land, family, and history.
Tóth Ferenc - affectionately known as Uncle Feri - and his wife embarked on their winegrowing journey back in 1983. A passionate advocate for rare grape varieties like Kadarka and Leányka, Tóth Ferenc has significantly contributed to the Eger region’s viticultural landscape, earning him the prestigious Hungarian Order of Merit for his efforts in 2017. In 2005, his daughter Katalin and son-in-law Zoltán joined, enhancing the winery's legacy and championing the official recognition of Egri Csillag (the region's flagship white wine) into appellation law.
