With an expansive mid-palate breadth that captures the sun-soaked climes of Frances Southwest, this Bergerac Blanc is a classic Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon blend. Lemon oil and lime pith flavors meet a subtle tangy grassiness, balanced by a slight waxy texture that gives the wine greater body. Refreshing in summer, but lingering and weighty enough, this is a white wine that can stand up to richer proteins in the cooler months.

Goat cheese, magret au poivre (duck), oysters, fish, cassoulet, light pastas, al fresco lunches, happy hours

Château de Tiregand, nestled in the Pécharmant appellation, boasts a rich history that stretches back to the 16th century, featuring notable owners such as Jean de Belrieu and Count César-Alexandre de La Panouse. Originally celebrated for its white varieties cultivated from vine material of Château d’Yquem, a devastating frost in 1956 prompted François de Saint-Exupéry—relative of renowned World War II pilot and author of The Little Prince—to introduce red varietals. In 2022, Christophe Piat acquired the estate and, alongside his family, embarked on a journey to convert it to organic farming. Their commitment to sustainable and biodynamic practices honors the land and has led to the production of their highly esteemed Pécharmant wines.
