Rich, stoic, and persistent, this Fetească Neagră proves the capacity for world-class wines coming from Romania’s flagship red grape. Densely flavored with an amalgam of dark fruit tones—roasted plum, cassis, Chambord—the wine finds further complexity in its inky tannic grip and nuanced, wintery spice tones. Remarkably long and constantly evolving in the glass, the wine can be enjoyed today or easily cellared for a decade or longer.
