Meet The Wines

  • Vinalia x Fausti, Falerio Pecorino

    Italy, 2022

This Falerio Pecorino delivers everything there is to love about Italian white wine: mouthwatering freshness, persistent acidity, and the gentlest nibble of bitterness on the finish that adds to the wine’s complexity. Tasting of lemon tarts, ripe green apples, sea salt, and wet stones, the wine is long and refreshing, but also bodied and ageworthy.

  • Vinalia x Tenuta Viglione, Susumaniello

    Italy, 2021

A rich, juicy wine that tastes of sun-soaked raisins and roasted plums. Hearty, rustic, and palate-coating, this Susumaniello carries notes of raspberry liqueur, wilted basil, rosemary, blackberry jam, and vanilla bean. A kiss of sweetness brings you straight to the shining summer days of Southern Italy.

  • Vinalia x Bodegas Verum, Cencibel Roble

    Spain, 2020

Tasting of red cherries and macerated strawberries, this Cencibel also shows a classic Spanish savoriness—sagebrush, dry earth, olive pit. The aging in tinajas contributes a stony minerality and freshness to this youthful expression of Spain’s most famous grape.

  • Vinalia x Ronco delle Betulle, Ribolla Gialla

    Italy, 2021

This is basically a baby orange wine—a gateway for newbies to the category, or a softer take for amber enthusiasts. A few days of maceration gives the wine a bit more texture and complexity, but it remains approachable and explosively juicy. This Ribolla Gialla tastes of ripe orchard fruits—yellow apple skin, pear tarte tatin, cantaloupe—alongside more herbaceous flavors of chamomile, sweet sage, and pressed mint. You might call it a white for red drinkers.

  • Vinalia x Merayo,
    Godello

    Spain, 2022

Tactile and savory, this Godello from the prestigious Bierzo region demonstrates the tremendous complexity of the best Spanish white wines. With a soft beeswax texture and gripping mineral character, the wine enjoys fuller-bodied notes of ripe pear, honeydew, citrus oil, and green apple skin. Ample and long finished, the wine continues to evolve in the glass and demonstrates the ability to age with grace.

  • Vinalia x Merayo,
    Mencía

    Spain, 2021

With a concentration and complexity hailing from the more than 80-year-old vines that yield this Mencía, the wine seduces with fragrant aromas of dried rose and tarragon. Full without ever feeling heavy, the wine’s soft, caressing tannins add body to its more delicate flavors of fresh strawberry and raspberry. The perfect red for the changing of the seasons that can be enjoyed with a gentle chill, or not—whatever you prefer.
